Who I am

Pam Galloway

I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for more than 40 years. In that time I have learned so much about the needs of children and families.

My experience includes many aspects of early child development, speech, language and communication. I value everything my families have taught me! I am particularly interested in functional aspects of communication in the family and my approach to therapy is child-parent (or caregiver) focused.

I received my qualification from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists in England and have been a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists for 35 years. I am registered to practice in British Columbia by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.

Apart from speech and language therapy I also write poetry.

    Hello
I just wonder if Pam is the Pam Galloway who worked as a SALT at the Spastics Society’s Hawksworth Hall School in Guisley in the 1970’s. I was a teacher there and worked closely with Pam. I have just found some photos and thought I would like to get in touch with former colleagues. I have kept my maiden name professionally. Please ask Pam to get in touch if it is the same person.
    Thanks, Mary
